A-League | Round 4

Brisbane Roar – Adelaide United 7:1
The best team in this league Brisbane which doesn’t know what is the meaning of the word “loss” (32 matches in a row) trashed the sorry team of Adelaide United. Macedonian player Spase Dilevski played the whole match for the loosing side and got pretty poor rating. Normaly after such kind of loss all players from Adelaide got poor ratings except the midfielder Dario Vidosic who scored the opener in the 5th minute. After the 20th minute everything went bad for Adelaide conceeding 1 goal in every 10 mins (average) finishing the match with 7 pieces. In addition on this just a note that Macedonian born referee Strebre Delovski was official referee of this game. He was named  A-League Referee of the Season 2008/09 and 2009/2010 and he is also a referee with FIFA badge since 2009.

Melbourne Heart – Sydney FC 1:1
The team of Ivan Necevski managed to reach a draw in the very last moments of the game. After it seemed that the game will end with a boring draw, Melbourne Heart took the lead in 86th minute, and 5 minutes after that Sydney scored the equalizer. Sydney manager Vítězslav Lavička seems to have weird tactics when the goalkeeper is in question. Ivan Necevski was again left on the bench after he was in the starting eleven in the round 3. Kliment Tasevski, the son of the former Vardar and Pobeda player Ilija Tasevski was again unable for this match as he is on the list of long term injured players due to a serious foot injury. It’s still unknown when should we expect his comeback.

Wellington Phoenix – Melbourne Victory 1:2
Blagoja “Billy” Celeski was finally back in Victory squad after an injury. He started the match from the bench, but he replaced Harry Kewell in
89th minute and played the few last minutes on this game. His team got a “big” win in New Zealand if we know that Wellington is one of the best
teams in the league when they play at home. As additional information, last year Brisbane Roar break Phoenix unbeaten run at Wellington Stadium after 25 games.

Gold Coast United – Newcastle Jets 3:1
Benjamin “Ben” Kantarovski, one of the most constant players for Newcastle Jets once again played the whole match for his team. Newcastle again lost away this time by the young solid team of Gold Coast. The midfielder got an average rating as the most of his teammates.

Central Coast Mariners – Perth Glory 2:1
Mile Sterjovski, the member of Perth Glory went back in the squad for his team but he was out of combination because it was concluded that he is still unfit. We should expect him to be back soon and to lead Perth’s Glory attack. This round his team lost away at Central Coast.
