Win, draw and defeat in group phase was enough for Macedonia U19 to advance to 1/4 finals on Kvarnerska Rivijera tournament.

Macedonia U19 opened with a 1:1 draw against the team of Udinese. Sulejmanov was Macedonia’s goalscorer in 65th minute, setting the final score. 

On that opening match, Macedonia played in the following line-up: Shishkovski; Ristevski, Trajkovikj, Karakamishev, Talevski, Velkovski, Dimov, Kostovski, Imeri, Sulejmanov, Babunski. Murati, Zhuta, Stoilov, Naumoski and Angelov also took part in the match.

The second day of the tournament went worse for Macedonia as they faced Osijek and lost 2:3. Rabotnichki’s duo Velkovski and Imeri scored the goals for Macedonia, but 4 minutes from time Osijek scored the winning goal.

Macedonia played the match with the following line-up: Taleski; Ristevski, Murati, Trajkovikj, Talevski, Dimov, Velkovski, Sulejmanov, Babunski, Imeri, Kostovski. Zhuta, Ivanovski, Naumoski, Angelov and Stoilov also took part in the match.

However, on the last day of the tournament, Macedonia defeated the team of Mali Lošinj 4:1. A brace of goals by Dorian Babunski and one more by Imeri and Kostovski gave Macedonia the win and the ticket for quarter finals.
