Even the two wins against Azerbaijan and especially the one against Romania didn’t help Macedonia to move few places up on the newest FIFA ranking list as the Macedonian antional team dropped 5 places and now it is 66th.
With 504 points Macedonia shares the 66th position with South Africa, the host of the World Cup that ended three days ago. Macedonia has 17 points less than the last ranking list and because of that dropped 5 places. New world champions Spain leads the ranking before World Cup runner-up Netherlands, followed by Brazil etc.
