Aleksandar Lazevski told Serbian newspapers that he grew up a Roma fan and would love to continue his career with the Italian club.
Left-back Aleksandar Lazevski conducted an interview with Serbian newspaper novosti.rs and when asked about the rumored interest of Roma, Lazevski answered, “I don’t know if the Roma rumors are true but if they were, that would be phenomenal because I grew up as a Roma fan from a young age. It would be great to continue my career at the Stadio Olimpico. The mere fact that somebody was pleased with my game in the big Partizan vs. Crvena Zvezda derby is a great honor.”
The Partizan manager also praised Lazevski’s performance in the Serbian derby by saying that Lazevski never fails in big games. Aleksandar responded, “The best compliment for any player is when it comes from a coach. Winning the praise and trust from the coach are very important to me and the positive comments just reaffirm that I did my job.” Lazevski finished the interview by saying that Partizan must stay focused and not have a letdown after their big derby win over Crvena Zvezda.
