Aleksandar Lazevski provided an assist for Partizan during today’s 3:0 win over Novi Pazar in the Serbian Cup.
Aleksandar Lazevski started at LB for Partizan and played all 90 minutes. He was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet as Partizan rolled to a comfortable 3:0 victory over Novi Pazar to easily advance to the next round of the Serbian Cup.
Lazevski also contributed offensively as he was credited with the assist on the second goal for Partizan in the 55th minute. Nemanja Tomić took a corner from the right and the ball eventually reached Lazevski in the crowded penalty area before he decided to set up his teammate Saša Ilić who scored with a shot from the edge of the area.
Aleksandar started his second consecutive game for Partizan after returning from a nagging injury that sidelined him for several months. He is slowly regaining his form and Lazevski should be summoned by Macedonian manager John Toshack for the upcoming EURO 2012 qualifiers in October against Armenia and Slovakia.
