2 home matches without fans for Shkendija

The FFM FFM’s disciplinary committee has banned Shkendija to play their next 2 home matches with no fans.

After the incident in Tetovo during the match between Shkendija and Ohrid, played on the 11th of September, when some Ohrid players were attacked during half-time by fans entering the pitch, FFM has decided to punish Shkendija by banning their fans to attend the next 2 home matches.  Therefore, Shkendija will play with no fans against Bregalnica Stip on the 24th of September and Metalurg on 22 October 2011.  This can change if Shkendija advances in the Macedonian Cup and plays their first leg in the quarter finals, scheduled for 19th of October, at home.  In that instance, fans will be allowed to attend the match against Metalurg.

In other news, Treska, a member of the second division, has been banned to play at their own stadium for the next 3 home matches because of an alleged attack towards the referee during the match against Rufeja.  That match eventually ended 0:0 in round 5 of league play.

The other decisions brought by the disciplinary committee concern individual players who received red cards during the recent matches.
