Cypriot newspapers are reporting that Hristijan Kirovski could leave Apollon in January if the club decides to sign a striker during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Hristijan Kirovski is currently the second option at striker for Apollon behind João Paulo. However, the Romanian manager of Apollon, Mihai Stoichiţă, is looking to strengthen the attacking department and Kirovski could be expandable if the team decides to sign a striker during the winter transfer window. Apollon prefers to have youngster Andreas Pittaras as the third option in attack so if another striker is added, that will likely mean the end for Kirovski in an Apollon jersey. The new striker, if added, would be ahead of João Paulo or behind him, like Kirovski, and since the club wants the youngster Pittaras to be the third option in attack, there will be limited playing time opportunities for Hristijan Kirovski.
Kirovski has scored four goals for Apollon this season but most of his appearances have come as a second half substitute. He has been unable to overcome João Paulo who has started the majority of the games. If Apollon decides to sell Kirovski, there should be interest in his services as he has been productive and several teams will surely look at Hristijan as being starting caliber.
