Jovan Kostovski training with Vardar

Striker Jovan Kostovski has joined Vardar training as a possible reinforcement for the second half of the season.

The current table leaders in Macedonia, FK Vardar, have brought in Jovan Kostovski and Bosnian defender Semir Kerla to train with the club.  Both players will be closely watched by the coaches who will then make the decision whether to sign either Kostovski or Kerla.

Kostovski actually was a product of the Vardar youth system but has been a without a team for months so his playing shape will be tested over the next couple of days.  He last played for Turkish second division side Orduspor but has been unsigned for the past couple of months.  During that time, he went on trial at Arka Gdynia but he was not offered a contract.  As for Kerla, he is a Bosnian defender who has made one appearance for the senior national team of his native country.  He last played for Slovak side Žilina after beginning his career with Željezničar.

Meanwhile, Kiran Bechan and Dean Tomeski, the two players who were already on trial, have left Vardar and will not be signed by the club who will continue its preparations in Turkey.
