In the 7th minute, APOEL took the 1:0 lead when Trickovski’s low pass was redirected by Aldo Adorno before Gustavo Manduca then scored an easy goal from close range into an empty net.  Ivan’s two assists came on the third and fourth goals for APOEL in the 19th and 57th minute, respectively.  First, Trickovski made another low cross across goal which was met by Adorno who slotted the ball to the back of the net while on the fourth goal in the 57th minute, Tricko controlled a long cross from the left before setting up Nuno Morais who scored with a powerful shot past the opposing keeper.

After Ivan was substituted, APOEL managed to score four more goals while the opponents scored their lone goal in the 89th minute.  APOEL easily advanced to the next round of the Cypriot Cup with the dominant 9:1 victory over second division side Akritas.  Trickovski has now compiled one goal and two assists during two games in 2012 with his goal coming in a game against Alki on 8 January.
