Youngster Filip Timov has left Slovenian club Koper after his contract was mutually terminated.
The 19-year-old Timov was not in the plans of the Koper manager so the two sides have decided to part ways. Filip only made one league appearance for the first team of Koper during the first half of the season in the top division of Slovenia. However, for the majority of the games, he was not even called up so Timov has left the club and thus becomes a free agent.
Timov is a member of the Macedonian U19 national team and represented the squad during the elite round tournament in Turkey last summer. Filip featured in all three games for Macedonia U19 during the tournament and even managed to score one goal in the 4:2 loss against Hungary. The other two teams in the group were Germany and Turkey.
