Interview with Filip Ivanovski

Will the “Macedonian trio” from Groclin have the chance to stay together in the next part of the season?
– Vlade Lazarevski plays constantly good for Groclin and also for the Macedonian national team and I would like to see him in some bigger club very soon. Pance Kumbev played the first part of the season in great style, but at the end he had an injury and wasn’t able to play on the last few matches.

How do you like the life in Poland? Ho do you like the living in small town like Grodzisk?

It is first time for me to live alone away from home and it took some time for me to adapt and to learn the language. Now I doing well and when I have more free time I use it to travel around and to see more from Poland. I come from bigger city (Skopje) and I needed some time to get used on living in smaller town like Grodzisk where I don’t have many choices for spending my free time. On the other side, I have more time and I can concentrate more on my trainings and the matches.

Did you meet other Macedonians in Poland?
– Yes I’ve met and I keep contacting them. The Macedonians in Poland have their association "Towarzystwo Polsko-Macedonskiej Przyjazni" and I often meet them.

Who are your closest friends and who gives you support in Poland?
– The other two Macedonians Vlade Lazarevski and Pance Kumbev helped me a lot so I can adapt in the new club and country. We spend a lot time together and we help each other. I contact often with Zlatko Tanevski who plays in Lech Poznan and also with the family Stamatoski who follow our matches and give us big support.

What is your biggest wish in your football career?
– I would like to play for a big club some day whit which I will be able to win many trophies. I have very big wish to play for the Macedonian national team and I hope that in the future I will be able to help for bigger success of our national team and qualification on the European and World Cups.
