Nikola Ilievski resigned as manager of the Bangladesh national football team today, citing health problems.
Nikola Ilievski held a press conference at the Bangladesh football federation today and announced his decision to resign. The popular Dzidzi said, “My health is not so good. I have been feeling an ache in my leg for some days. I will have to undergo surgery in Macedonia in the near future.”
Ilievski will likely leave Bangladesh later today and return to Macedonia. Nikola was originally named manager of Bangladesh earlier this year in late June and held that post until today. He was the 16th foreign coach in the history of the Bangladesh national football team.
