Veteran Rabotnicki defender Igor Stojanov finally recovered from his injury and played during today’s game against Napredok.

Igor Stojanov started at one of the CB spots where he was partnered by Pance Kumbev.  His presence was visible as Rabotnicki was solid on defense and cruised to an easy 4:0 win over Napredok.  His replacements have made some mental mistakes and Rabotnicki has not been able to keep many clean sheets.  However, with the return of Stojanov, Rabotnicki expects once again for the defense to become a strength for the team.  Stojanov ended up playing the entire game during today’s game.

Stojanov sustained the knee injury during the match against Anorthosis in the Europa League qualifications.  He has not played since until today when he returned in the Rabotnicki starting lineup and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.  The Rabotnicki defense in today’s game consisted of RB Vladica Vrdarovski, CB’s Igor Stojanov and Pance Kumbev, and LB Dime Lazarevski.
