Nikola Jakimovski entered today’s game in the 71st minute for Javor and received a straight red card five minutes later.
It was not a good day for the 21-year-old Macedonian attacker Nikola Jakimovski. He started the game on the bench for Javor before he came on in the 71st minute replacing Živorad Mišić. However, only five minutes later, Jakimovski was given a straight red card for apparently complaining to the referee. Javor ended up losing today’s game 1:0 away to Sevojno.
Jakimovski joined Javor earlier this summer after finishing last year with Macedonian club Teteks. Nikola wanted to continue his career abroad so he decided not to return to Teteks and agreed to a deal with Javor. This was his third appearance in a Javor uniform but this quick red card will not sit well with the manager. Jakimovski was a product of the Makedonija Gjorce Petrov youth system and has formerly played for the youth national teams of Macedonia.
Prior to joining Teteks last year for the second half of the season, Jakimovski had a brief stint of several months in Hungary with Ferencváros.
