The Maribor sporting director, Zlatko Zahović, said on Saturday that Agim Ibraimi may rejoin the Slovenian club in January.

At the beginning of the winter preparations, Maribor sporting director Zlatko Zahović held a press conference where he answered many questions about the transfer market, also mentioning that the Slovenian club may bring back Agim Ibraimi in January.

As a reminder, Agim Ibraimi is currently on loan at Serie A side Cagliari.  However, Agim has not received much playing time and on Sunday he was once again an unused substitute in Cagliairi’s goalless draw against Chievo.  So far, Ibraimi has made 10 league appearances for a total of just 273 minutes.

Zahović made the following statement regarding Ibraimi, “Speaking of reinforcements, I can mention one more thing.  We have to be cautious, but I do not rule out a return for Agim Ibraimi in January.”
