Maribor was officially eliminated from the Europa League with a tough home loss against Club Brugge.  Maribor made it 3:0 in the 68th minute but Club Brugge then scored four goals from the 74th to 90th minute to record a dramatic 4:3 victory.  Macedonian international Agim Ibraimi started for Maribor in left midfield and played until the 75th minute when he was replaced by Zoran Lesjak.  Agim did play a part in the second goal for Maribor in the 50th minute when Ibraimi passed the ball to Dejan Trakovski, born in Slovenia but of Macedonian origins, whose cross from the left resulted in an own goal for Club Brugge after defender Ryan Donk inadvertently sent the ball to the back of the net past his own keeper.  When Ibraimi was substituted in the 75th minute, Maribor had a commanding 3:1 lead but the home side collapsed and was eventually defeated 4:3 by Club Brugge.

With the loss, Maribor was officially eliminated from the Europa League.  Club Brugge and Braga lead the way in Group H with 10 points apiece after five matchdays, Birmingham City is in third place with 7 points, while Maribor is in last place with only one point.
