Hristijan Dimoski joined Metalurg

Ohrid’s playmaker, Hristijan Dimoski, today signed a contract with title contenders Metalurg.

The 26-year-old offensive midfielder signed a 3 year contract with Metalurg, the second placed team on the table behind Vardar.  He will be a reinforcement for the attack as Metalurg recently lost Baze Ilijoski to Romanian side Brașov.  Ilijoski led the team with 10 goals so they had to address that loss.

Dimoski led newly promoted Ohrid to an amazing run of 7 games without a defeat, including a 0:0 home draw against Metalurg and a 2:1 road win against Rabotnicki.  During the first half of the season, Dimoski scored 6 of the 16 goals for Ohrid and also had a couple of assists.  The fans of our web site voted him as the third best player during the first half-season behind Shkendija’s Ferhan Hasani and Vardar’s Filip Ivanovski, both members of the Macedonian national team.
