Dragi Kocev was given a rare start for Lokomotiv Plovdiv and made the most of his opportunity by scoring a hat-trick in the Bulgarian Cup game against Dobrudzha.  Kocev played the entire game for Loko Plovdiv and scored his three goals in the 1st, 65th, and 90th minute.  In the 1st minute, Serginho made a good pass from the left which reached Kocev who did the rest by slotting the ball past the opposing keeper.  Then, Kocev got behind the defense in the 65th minute after another good pass by Serginho and managed to score his second goal of the game.  Finally, in the 90th minute, Kocev got his hat-trick to set the final score at 4:0 with a powerful shot past the Dobrudzha keeper.

With the comfortable 4:0 victory over Dobrudzha, Lokomotiv Plovdiv advanced to the quarter-finals of the Bulgarian Cup.  Kocev has started to receive more playing under new manager Emil Velev who recently took over from Macedonian manager Dragi Kanatlarovski who resigned from Loko Plovdiv following a disappointing start to the season.  The 24-year-old Kocev formerly played for the youth national teams of Macedonia but has not been capped by the senior national team of Macedonia.
