Goran Popov underwent operation

Defender Goran Popov underwent a knee operation in Italy yesterday to fix his damaged meniscus.

The knee operation was performed yesterday at the Villa Stuart sport clinic in Italy by Dr. Pier Paolo Mariani.  Popov underwent an arthroscopic surgery for his damaged meniscus.  Goran had the same surgery two years ago and stated last week that he should begin walking in three days after the operation and then start light training in about 15-20 days.

Popov will rehab with the hopes of making a full recovery in time for the start of the second half of the season in Ukraine.  Goran has already been ruled of the next four games for Dynamo Kyiv, two games in league play before the long winter break and two more games in the Europa League.
