With Galatasaray playing a Turkish Cup match on Tuesday, Goran Pandev was given playing time and netter one goal.

On Tuesday, Galatasaray faced a road clash versus Diyarbakır. Pandev started at CF and scored the opening goal in their comfortable 4:1 victory. Goran scored his goal in the 31st minute when he beat the offside trap on a pass by Bruma, then rounded the keeper before sending his shot into an empty net.

Diyarbakır would equalize near the end of the 1st half before Galatasaray then added three goals after the break. In this game, Pandev played all 90 minutes for the first time in a Galatasaray uniform.
