Gjore Jovanovski named Rabotnicki manager

Gjore JovanovskiAfter Goran Petreski resigned from Rabotnicki, the management chose Gjore Jovanovski as his replacement.

Gjore Jovanovski is Rabotnicki’s new manager, after Goran Petreski recently left the club after five consecutive league defeats.  The experienced manager is back at the club after already spending three seasons in Rabotnicki earlier in his career where he brought good successes to the club.  Besides Rabotnicki, Gjore has also managed Sloga Jugomagnat, Milano, and Metalurg from Macedonia while also being in charge of Samsunspor in Turkey.  Jovanovski also had a brief spell with CSKA Sofia from Bulgaria and was named manager of the Bangladesh national football team but left that position before the first official match.  Jovanovski has also been in charge of the Macedonian national team but didn’t last long after a string of bad results.

Jovanovski will manage his first game for Rabotnicki in the return leg of the Macedonian Cup quarter finals when they face Napredok on the 16th of November in Kicevo.  Rabotnicki will be defending a 4:1 lead from the first leg and should advance to the next round of the competition, barring a collapse.
