Vardar celebrated a comfortable 1:4 win over their rivals Metalurg and are now sitting alone at the top of the table. Vardar dominated throughout the match and deservedly won, as their victory was never put into question. After just 10 minutes of play, they already had a 0:2 lead with goals scored by Asani and Grncharov. Metalurg pulled one back through Krstev before the half-time, but Vardar stepped up in the second half and added two more goals, courtesy of Grozdanoski and Ivanovski. The hosts had to finish the match with 10 men after Gjorgjievski was sent off in the 88th minute.

Highlights:

Pelister should feel sorry they did not return from Kratovo with the three points after they had a 0:1 lead up until the final whistle. Markovski opened the scoreline in the 35th minute and that result was active until the last second of the match. In the injury time, which was unusually long, Sileks managed to level the match through Janev and stayed undefeated after 6 matches in the first league. Prior to the goal, Pelister’s Trajkoski was sent off.

Highlights:

Bregalnica noted another defeat and are last but one on the table. Their away match against Renova ended in a 2:1 win for the hosts. Renova opened the scoreline in the 28th minute with a goal scored by Jusufi, but Bregalnica leveled the match just before half-time. Youngster Mishev was the goalscorer. However, Emini set the final score of the game in the 68th minute and left Bregalnica with no points from this match.
