Filip Pivkovski loaned out to Nordsjæland

Filip Pivkovski (L) with head coach Kasper Hjulmand, photo: fcn.dkBlackburn Rovers’ forward Filip Pivkovski will spend the remaining part of the season as a loaned player to Danish side Nordsjæland.

Filip Pivkovski, who turned 18 years old yesterday, will be loaned out from Blackburn Rovers to Nordsjæland until the end of the season.  This was reported today on the Danish club’s official website.

Pivkovski was born in Malmö, Sweden but his parents are from Bitola, Macedonia so he is eligible to play for Macedonia.

Filip will first play for the Nordsjæland U20 squad but he might be moved to the senior team as well.  In addition, after the end of the loan deal, Nordsjæland holds the right to purchase the player.

‘I am very happy to be here.  I have seen how this club works on and off the field, and I am pleased to be a part of it.  I know I can improve myself here and that is why I came.’ – Pivkovski told
