Rabotnicki’s forward Filip Petkovski is on the verge of signing a deal with Uzbek side Shurtan.
Filip Petkovski (21) is currently in Dubai where he is training with Uzbek football club Shurban from the city of G’Uzor. Petkovski will be showing his skills over the next couple of days. The striker was part of Rabotnicki’s youth school and has spent most of his career with Rabotnicki, except for a brief loan spell to Tikves in 2010. Petkovski scored 4 goals for Rabotnicki in the first half of the season.
His potential new team is a rich Uzbek club who finished in 7th place last season. Shurtan has high ambitions for the upcoming season which kicks off on the 15th of March. As MacedonianFootball.com understands, the move was organized by Strategy Sport, the same agency that managed Stole Dimitrievski’s transfer to Udinese. The young goalkeeper was subsequently sent on loan to Cádiz.
