Macedonia begins the new year at number 84, or one place lower then last month, as the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings were released today.
Macedonia has 425 points, the same as they had last month, but other teams slightly improved, thus leading to the one-place fall on the rankings.
There were no matches for the national team during the prior month. In fact, Macedonia’s next match is not until March – a friendly against Latvia on the 5th. That would also mark Boshko Gjurovski’s debut as the new manager of the national team.
