Dobre Dimovski has been sacked as manager of the Macedonian women’s national team after a series of poor results.
Following the recent bad results, FFM’s board of directors decided to sack Dobre Dimovski, the Macedonian women;s national team manager. The team is currently playing qualifications for the women’s EURO qualifications but the results have not been good. After 4 matches, Macedonia has only collected 1 point which came after the team played a 1:1 draw against Greece in Prilep, while the matches against Italy (0:9), Bosnia and Herzegovina (2:6) and Poland (0:3) were all played in Macedonia, but resulted in convincing losses.
The team’s next match is on the 31st of March against Russia at 13.00 CET, and the players will be led by acting managers Blagoja Filipovski and Toshe Nacev. These two coaches will remain on the post until the board of directors names a new manager to lead the women’s national team.
