Disciplinary proceedings against Ilijoski, Naumoski and Grozdanoski

FFM The Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) has opened disciplinary proceedings against Bazhe Iljoski, Ilcho Naumoski and Vlatko Grozdanoski, the three players who made critical comments towards managers John Toshack and Boban Babunski.

After the recent comments in the media, the battle between Toshack, Babunski and FFM, against the three international players, continued after the FFM disciplinary committee opened proceedings against those three players for insulting and manipulating words used against manager John Toshack and his top assistant Boban Babunski, also manager of the Macedonian U21 national team.

It all started when Ilijoski wrote critical comments about Toshack’s squad for the friendly matches against Portugal and Angola on his Facebook profile, and Grozdanoski added to that criticism through statements given on another website.

Ilcho Naumoski soon followed with an interview with newspaper Makedonski Sport where he shared his thoughts on Toshack, Babunski and the football federation overall.

John Toshack responded with a short statement through FFM’s official website, and it seemed that everything would end there.

However, during the meeting of the disciplinary committee held today, it was decided that disciplinary proceedings will be opened against Ilijoski, Grozdanoski and Naumoski for the defamatory comments made towards Toshack and Babunski.  Each player has been given three days to respond to the matter with a written statement.
