The left-back of Rabotnicki completed his transfer to Astana, a football club from Kazakhstan’s capital.

Dimitrija Lazarevski signed a 1-year deal with FK Astana with an option to extend it for two more years.  The club was formerly known as Lokomotiv Astana but then changed the name to just Astana.  The team is very young, formed only in 2009, but the popular Lazarevski, nicknamed “Ribar,” will be the third Macedonian to wear the club’s colors after Vlade Lazarevski and Bobi Bozinovski.

The 29-year-old Lazarevski has played for numerous clubs during his career but is most known for his time with Rabotnicki where he was a fan favorite.  Despite his good performances for Rabotnicki, he was never given a chance on the senior national team, but did formerly play for the U21 team.
