The 20-year-old midfielder Dejan Peshevski currently finds himself on trial with Slovak club Košice.
Košice announced that two players are currently on trial with their club in Dejan Peshevski and Haris Abdulahovič. Peshevski is a Macedonian-born midfielder, while Abdulahovič is an 18-year-old player from Bosnia-Herzegovina. Yesterday, Peshevski played for Košice’s first team in a friendly against Diósgyőr. Meanwhile, Abdulahovič played in a friendly for Košice’s reserve team, also against Diósgyőr.
Concerning Peshevski, he came off the bench in the 60th minute during yesterday’s friendly. Also playing in that match for Košice was Macedonian keeper Darko Tofiloski who has been with the Slovak club since 2010. Tofiloski played the entire game at keeper and conceded two goals in a 1:2 loss against Diósgyőr.
Here is the Košice lineup from yesterday’s friendly: Tofiloski – Kavka, Bašista, Sekulič – Šinglár, Korijkov – Viazanka, Bukata, Djordjevič (60. Peshevski) – Novák (81. Haskič), O. Diaby (70. Skvašík).
Last week, Croatian media reported that Peshevski was on trial with Hajduk Split, but his time there was brief as he is now on trial with Košice. Peshevski is familiar with Slovak football as he has already played for the youth teams of Ružomberok and Spartak Trnava earlier in his career.
