Darko Tasevski has extended his contract with Levski until the summer of 2013, thus ending speculation that he wanted to leave the club.
Just like last year, Darko Tasevski has signed a one year extension with Levski until the summer of 2013. His contract was set to expire in the summer of 2012 but Tasevski decided to extend his deal for an additional year. He also signed a one year extension last year but Levski was unable to sell Tasevski this summer for a desirable amount.
The plan by Levski for these one year extensions is to hopefully raise his price in the transfer market. Usually, when a player has only several months on his contract, the team loses leverage and that leads to disappointing offers. Tasevski could have benefited from playing in a better league but he seems settled at Levski and decided to sign the extension.
