Šibenik is facing financial problems that forced several players to go on strike and refuse to play for the club during the final two games before the first half of the season ended in Croatia.  Georgievski was not one of those players as he played in one of those games but missed the next match because of an injury.  However, Georgievski is one of the valuable assets on Šibenik and the club is expected to sell him during the winter transfer window.  Daniel has a contract until the summer of 2012 so this will be the last opportunity for Šibenik to receive some money for Georgievski.

The 23-year-old Georgievski was originally born in Australia but decided to represent Macedonia internationally.  He has made four caps with the senior national team after also being capped by the Macedonian U21 national team.  Daniel joined Šibenik in the summer of 2010 and to date, he has made 30 league appearances for the Croatian club with one goal.  Georgievski is usually deployed at right-back but can also play further up the field in right midfield.  He has spent all of his club career in Croatia with Šibenik and Međimurje after briefly being a member of the Dinamo Zagreb youth system.
