Dushan Savikj and Luch-Energiya failed to agree contract terms, and Savikj will not be signing with the Russian team.

Luch-Energiya disclosed on its official website that they were unable to agree contract terms with the agent of Dushan Savikj.  The club had financial limitations and the two sides could not reach common ground.  Thus, Dushan has left Luch-Energiya’s winter training camp to search for another team.

Savikj is currently a free agent after his half-season contract expired with Hoverla.  The Hoverla manager mentioned several days ago that his club could not agree terms with Savikj, and now Luch-Energiya has also failed to agree on a contract with the Macedonian attacker.  Dushan was on trial and played in two friendlies for Luch-Energiya, scoring one goal in the match against Sevastopol.

We reached out for comment to Savikj regarding his future plans now that he will not be signing with Luch-Energiya.  If he responds, we will update what he said in his answer.
