Nikolce Noveski, one of the best Macedonian defenders has decided to sign new contract with the German club Mainz although he had many offers from other bigger clubs from Germany and England. The 28 years old defender has signed new 3 years long contract and will stay in Mainz until 2010.

FIFA and UEFA mediate in FFM’s rift
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski embarked upon a mediation mission to bridge the differences in the long-standing rift in Macedonian Football Federation. Early on Friday, Gruevski met with the President of the Ukrainian Football Federation and a member of the FIFA Association Committee, Grigory Surkis for talks on the perspective of the Macedonian football.
Artim Polozani moves to Germany
Artim Polozani, the player of the year 2006 and member of the Macedonian national team signed for TuS Koblenz. The 25 years old midfielder and former member of Makedonija GP signed a 3 years contract with the club from the 2nd German Bundesliga.
Boban Jancevski – player of the season
Boban Jancevski has been chosen as best player of the Macedonian First League for the 2006/07 season. The South America tour is canceled
The Macedonian Football Federation has canceled the South American tour. Macedonian national team with combined team and under the name of Macedonia B leaded by Misad Jonuz was supposed to play friendly matches against Peru and Venezuela on 13th and 17th June.
