Macedonian internationals performances
Goce Sedloski, Filip Ivanovski, Boban Grncarov, Artim Polozani, Darko Tasevski and Jason Naidoski scored goals this weekend, while Velice Sumulikoski had his debut for his new club Preston North End.
Macedonian First League – Round 2
Very interesting matches were played in the second round of the Macedonian First League. Definitely the most interesting match was played in Skopje where the former old rivals Vardar and Teteks met again after the long break and Vardar managed to celebrate their first win this season.

Round 2 is next in line in front of the match between the national teams of Macedonia and Spain. Derby will be played in Tetovo between Renova and Makedonija Gjorce Petrov and in Skopje Vardar and Teteks will remind us on the good old times.
Midweek internationals performances
Darko Tasevski with two assists continues the European adventure, while despite Filip Ivanovski’s goal Polonia got eliminated.
Odense – Rabotnicki 3:0
Unlike the first match in Skopje, Rabotnicki couldn’t compete with the Danish club and was haevily defeated.
Spanish squad announced
Spanish national team coach, Vicente del Bosque González, announced the 21-players-squad for the friendly against Macedonia next week. Spain will arrive with their strongest team, with Casillas, Torres, Villa, Puyol, Xavi etc, except Barça’s midfielder Andrés Iniesta, Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos and Villareal’s Marcos Senna who weren’t called up due to several raesons.
Preview: Odense – Rabotnicki
The only Macedonian team that has survived in the European cups, Rabotnicki, tomorrow will play the second leg from the third qualification round from UEFA Europa League against Danish OB Odense. The first match ended 3-4 in favor of the Danish team.
No changes on the FIFA rankings
Because there was no football activity during the summer, there were no changes on the FIFA ranking list and Macedonia kept the 53rd position with 589 points.
Sumulikoski completes Preston move
Macedonian national team member Velice Sumulikoski completed his move from Ipswich Town to another English Championship side, Preston North End, for a fee believed to be about £400.000.
