Macedonia’s u21 national team will search the first victory in the EURO 2011 qualifications when they visit Lithuania tomorrow.
After 5 matches, Macedonia only collected two points from two draws at home. Lithuania and Portugal were held to a draw in Prilep, or should we say they held Macedonia to a draw. Nevertheless, the chances for Macedonia to make something out of this group are smaller then small, but it is in the spirit of football to hope and play till the final whistle.
Against Lithuania in Prilep it seemed like Macedonia has produced better play but did not managed to win eventually. Now, after another draw against Portugal with a goal scored by them in the dying minutes, maybe the time has come for the first win and attacking the third place on the table for at least couple of days.
This match is scheduled for Friday, 13th of November at 17.00 CET. The match will be played on S. Darius & S. Girenas stadium in Kaunas, Lithuania and main referee will be Pavel Olsiak from Slovakia. Maybe Friday the 13th will bring luck to Macedonia.
