The Football Federation of Macedonia has arranged two friendly matches for next month. Macedonia will host Canada and then will travel to Iran for friendly matches as part of the preparations for the EURO 2012 qualifiers.

A missed opportunity for victory in the qualifications tournament for EURO 2011 for players under 21 years. Macedonia had lead of 1-0, but a goal in 90th minute set the final score of 1-1.

Macedonia defeated Qatar in the friendly match played today in Skopje. Goran Pandev was the hero, scoring both goals in the 2:1 victory.

Nearing the end of the year, new challenge rises for Macedonia and it is called Qatar. A friendly match scheduled for tomorrow – on the national holiday 11th of October.

The Macedonian U21 national team continued with the unsuccessful results and failed to make a surprise away to England. After the extraordinary match that finished 6:3, Macedonia is on the last position in the qualifying group 9 with only one point.

A difficult task stands in front of the Macedonian U21 national team when they visit England U21 in the qualifications tournament for EURO 2011.

The Macedonian U21 national team is making the last preparations before the trip to England and the captain Vladimir Dimitrovski is in optimistic mood and hopes that Macedonia can surprise England.

Samir Fazli, Sevdailj Selmani and Antonio Stankov have canceled their appearance for the U21 national team against England and Portugal because of injuries.
