Armend Alimi joined NK Istra 1961
Armend Alimi, the 21-years-old Macedonian national team midfielder, signed a 6-months contract with Croatian club Istra.

Ilco Naumoski scored twice in Austria, Aco Stojkov once in Switzerland, same as Nderim Nedzipi in Belgium, Mario Gjurovski in Serbia and Agim Ibraimi in Slovenia. Mijadinoski in Debreceni
Mirsad Mijadinoski, the Macedonian defender, has signed a 4-years-long contract with Hungarian champions Debreceni VSC and will have the chance to compete in the Champions League this season.
Macedonian Second League – Round 3
The 3rd round was marked by few big wins. Bregalnica Stip and Skopje defeated Vlazrimi and Ohrid with 5:0, while Drita managed to score one goal in their 5:1 defeat to Shkendija 79.
Friendly with Qatar arranged
The Qatar football association offered a friendly game between Macedonia and Qatar to be played in Skopje in October and the Football federation of Macedonian accepted the offer.

Boban Grncarov in the Champions League
This year, Macedonia will have one participant in the UEFA Champions League, the 27-years-old national team defender Boban Grncarov, who with Cypriot side APOEL managed to qualify for the groups. Macedonia will also have 3 other players that will participate in the Europa League group stage.

U21 squad for England & Lithuania announced
Boban, Babunski, the U21 national team coach has announced the 24-players squad with whom he will face England and Lithuania on the beginning of September in the qualying Group 9 for the 2011 UEFA European U21 Championship in Denmark.
