The eternal derby between Pelister and Vardar marked the 10th round. Pelister won with 1:0 on the bad pitch in Bitola. On the other matches, Sileks won against Teteks, Rabotnicki beat Pobeda with 6:2, Renova defeated Metalurg with a turnover, while Makedonija won the points in the last seconds of the match in Turnovo.

A big drop of ten positions on the latest FIFA rankings. After the defeats away to Scotland and Norway in September, even the win on the friendly against Qatar didn’t help, so Macedonia lost 94 points and is ranked 66th on the FIFA World Ranking for October 2009.
