Ilcho Naumoski scored two goals, the second in the 87th minute proving to be the game winner, to help Mattersburg down Sturm Graz in the third round of the 2012/13 Austrian season.

Samir Fazli scored a late goal for Heerenveen three minutes after coming off the bench, Daniel Georgievski made his competitive debut for Steaua București, while Goran Popov returned to action for Dynamo Kyiv.

Adis Jahovic found the back of the net twice for Wil in Switzerland, Stevica Ristic added a goal for Suwon, while Armend Alimi returned to action for Örebro following a lengthy injury.

Bazhe Ilijoski scored his first competitive goal for Rapid București, Agim Ibraimi netted a goal for Maribor but also suffered an injury, while other Macedonian internationals, with their respective teams, learned whether they advanced or were eliminated from Champions League and Europa League qualifying.

Metalurg conceded another three goals against Ruch Chorzów to lose 1:6 on aggregate, while Renova defeated Gomel 0:1 on the road but was still eliminated from the Europa League qualifications after losing the first leg 2:0.  These results meant that all four Macedonian clubs competing in European competitions this season have now been eliminated.

Both Metalurg and Renova play the return legs of their respective matchups today with each club trailing by two goals on aggregate after the first legs.
