Bregalnica inks Naumov, Vardar adds Geshoski

Two clubs from the top division have signed veteran strikers with Bregalniza Shtip inking Riste Naumov while Vardar brought in Blagoja Geshoski.

Bregalnica was in need of a striker after losing Genc Hyseni earlier in the summer.  Hyseni scored 11 goals for the Shtip based club last season so his absence left a big hole in the attack which Bregalniza hopes Riste Naumov can fill.  The 31-year-old Naumov was born in Shtip so he returns to his hometown city.  Riste comes to Bregalnica as a free agent after he recently trialed but was not offered a contract by Bulgarian club Etar 1924.

Vardar, meanwhile, decided to sign center forward Blagoja Geshoski to bolster its attack with another option.  Geshoski is a tall striker who is good in the air so he will give Vardar some height and aerial ability with crosses played into the box.  Geshoski, himself 31 years old, scored 13 goals in 31 league appearances for 11 Oktomvri last season but the team from Prilep was ultimately relegated by finishing in last place on the standings.
