Goalkeeper Martin Bogatinov reclaimed the starting job as Karpaty keeper but conceded five goals in today’s game against Zorya.
New Karpaty manager Volodymyr Sharan decided to start Martin Bogatinov in goal as the second half of the season resumed today in Ukraine. However, Bogatinov and Karpaty had a nightmare start to the second half by losing 5:1 in the road encounter against Zorya. Bogatinov conceded one goal in the 1st half and four more goals after the break, while Karpaty pulled one goal back in the 89th minute.
Zorya was second from bottom on the table at the conclusion of the first half so it’s not a good sign for Karpaty to suffer such a heavy defeat. It is unclear whether the Karpaty manager will stick with Bogatinov moving forward or choose another keeper after today’s debacle.
