The draw for the “Coppa Carnevale” paired Belasica in a group with Lazio, Varese and Nacional.

Once again, Belasica will take part in the traditional “Coppa Carnevale di Viareggio”, the Italian youth international tournament. In the 66th edition of the cup, Belasica will be in Group 6 together with Italian clubs Lazio and Varese along with Paraguayan side Nacional.

Although Belasica has never managed to pass the group stages thus far, the young players from Strumica have put in some good performances in the past. Back in 2001, when the club participated for the first time, young players like Goran Pandev and Aco Stojkov impressed the scouts and later both of them joined Inter. To this day, Pandev is still playing his trade in the Italian Serie A where he has made a nice career for himself.
