Baldovaliev swaps Chiasso for Olympiakos Volou

Striker Zoran Baldovaliev left Switzerland to reinforce Greek second league side Olympiakos Volou.

The 31-year old striker joined Chiasso last summer but failed to impress scoring once in 15 league matches and adding one goal in the only cup game. Chiasso is currently on the 8th place in the second Swiss league from 10 clubs.

The Greek football isn’t unfamiliar to Zoran as before joining Chiasso he played the 2013/14 season at Kerkyra. His new club Olympiakos Volou is also playing in the second league, in the North Group to be precise and is currently 5th with 5 points away from the promotion play-offs. With Kerkyra he managed to win promotion scoring 9 goals in 26 games (play-off included), maybe he will do similar with the Volos based team.

Throughout his career Baldovaliev changed many clubs including Turnovo (Macedonia), Al-Qadisiyah, Najran (Saudi Arabia), Enosis Neon Paraliminou (Cyprus), Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona (Israel), Lokomotiv Sofia, Lokomotiv Plovdiv (Bulgaria), Ventspils (Latvia), MKT-Araz (Azerbaijan) and Celje (Slovenia). He is a product of Belasica.
