Metalurg building a strong team
Metalurg has shown that has serious ambitions for the upcoming season with the new players they have acquired. Several new well-known Macedonian players have already signed with Metalurg and the club is getting ready for a successful season.
Macedonian clubs in Europe 2009/10
Makedonija in the CL, Rabotnicki, Renova and Milano in UEFA Europa League have got their opponents for the European matches for this season. We will see two duels between Macedonia and Belarus, Rabotnicki got Crusaders from Northern Ireland, while Milano will wait for an opponent.
Ajeti moved to Artmedia ‘A’
Astrit Ajeti has been moved to FC Artmedia Petrzalka ‘A’ team. Ajeti has been playing for the B squad, but for the friendly match against SV Mattersburg he has been moved to the first-choice team and played the whole match.
Youth national teams friendlies
U17 and U19 national teams have played friendly matches with their counterparts from Albania. U19 were hosts, while U17 visited Albania. Both first matches ended in a draw.
Tasevski wanted in Ukraine, again
Darko Tasevski, the Macedonian midfielder playing for Bulgarian Levski Sofia might return to Ukraine once again, this time to Metalurh Donetsk, reports Bulgarian media.
Hajduk Split chase Macedonian trio
Famous Croatian football club Hajduk Split chase three Macedonian footballers. After the previously reported interest for Gligor Gligorov, Hajduk have now declared their interest for strikers Ilco Naumoski and Stevica Ristić.
Coach changes in Rabotnicki
Gordan Zdravkov, the caretaker coach of Rabotnicki who was in charge when Rabotnicki won the cup title is no longer head coach of Rabotnicki.
