Stefan Ashkovski has officially been loaned to Napredak, and held his first training with the club on Tuesday.
The loan from Partizan to Napredak is now official as Ashkovski will spend the rest of the season with Napredak. Ashkovski is moving to Napredak after spending the first half of the season with Donji Srem. Donji Srem wanted to extend the loan agreement, but Partizan ultimately decided that Napredak would be the better team for Ashkovski.
At Napredak, Ashkovski will compete with Žarko Udovičić for the left-back position. He is now training with his new club during the winter preparations in anticipation for the beginning of the second half of the season. Napredak will train in Serbia over the next week or so, before continuing its preparations in Turkey in late January.
The manager of the club, Nenad Milovanović, stated that top priority will be to remain in the top division and avoid relegation. At the midway point, Napredak is just two points above the relegation zone.
