After Serbian website zurnal.rs reported that Stefan Ashkovski will be loaned to Napredak, we reached out to get a comment from Ashkovski himself.

Stefan told us that he still doesn’t know that it’s a 100% formality.  Furthermore, he said, “I am aware of the story by Žurnal, but I have not signed anything yet.  Regarding my future, everything should be known by this Sunday.”

Žurnal is usually a very reliable source, so Ashkovski may indeed end up in Napredak.  It may be the case that the two clubs, Partizan and Napredak, have agreed to a loan arrangement, and soon they will inform Stefan of their decision.

Most of the clubs in Serbia will begin their winter preparations by next Monday, so by then we should know for sure where Ashkovski will spend the second half of the season.
