Tome Pacovski continued his good form for Beerschot with another clean sheet in today’s 2:0 win over Genk.

In the only game of the Belgian top division played today, Beerschot celebrated a 2:0 home victory over the defending Belgian champions Genk.  Pacovski played from the start for Beerschot and kept a clean sheet.  The home side did not look inferior to Genk and recorded the win thanks to a brace from striker Sherjill MacDonald.  Pacovski did his job effectively and made several good saves with his best one coming in the 61st minute when he denied a Genk player from close range.  Tome was also given a yellow card by the referee in the 73rd minute for time wasting.

With the win, Beerschot moved to eight place with 21 points while their opponents Genk remained in seventh place with two more points than Beerschot after 16 rounds in the Belgian top division.
