Edin Nuredinoski in action; photo: 24sports.com.cyGoalkeeper Edin Nuredinoski kept his third consecutive clean sheet for Ethnikos Achnas during today’s 0:0 draw against AEL.

Edin Nuredinoski maintained his solid form for Ethnikos Achnas by keeping yet another clean sheet, this time in the road game against second placed AEL.  Ethnikos Achnas, coached by Macedonian Cedomir Janevski, played defensive football and managed to collect a point in the tough road encounter against AEL.  Nuredinoski made several good saves help his team salvage a point as his fellow Macedonian teammate Stojan Ignjatov was also given the start by Ethnikos Achnas and played until the 72nd minute when he was replaced by Ivan Babić.

Since Cedomir Janevski took over Ethnikos Achnas, the club has compiled 11 points in eight league games.  Ethnikos Achnas has climbed from 13th to 9th place on the table under the guidance of Janevski after a slow start to begin the season.  After the game, Janevski mentioned that he was only pleased with how his team played in the 1st half but was satisfied with the result.  Meanwhile, Nuredinoski stated, “It’s always difficult to play at AEL.  We were well prepared, organized, and pleased with today’s result.  We won’t stop here as there are many games to go and we will give our best in each game to get this team to where it belongs.”
