Marjan Altiparmakovski scored his first league goal in a Xanthi uniform during today’s 4:2 victory over Ergotelis.

The 30th and final round of the Greek top division was played today.  With Xanthi having no chance of being relegated, the manager decided to give a chance to some of the younger players, including the 20-year-old Altiparmakovski.  Marjan played all 90 minutes as the lone striker up front and managed to score the fourth and final goal for Xanthi in stoppage time of the 90th minute.  Marjan’s goal ensured that Ergotelis, today’s opponents, were relegated to the Greek second division. 

This was Altiparmakovski’s first league appearance of the season and the goal was his first in a Xanthi uniform since joining the club in the summer of 2010 from Pelister.  In his two year stay with Xanthi, Marjan has made just three league caps with one goal.
