Striker Adis Jahovikj and Zürich have mutually agreed not to renew his loan agreement which was set to expire this month.
Adis originally joined Zürich from Swiss second division side Wil in September of 2012 on a loan agreement that lasted until June of 2013 with Zürich also receiving an option to purchase him outright. However, after Jahovikj closed this past season with mostly being on the bench, both sides agreed to go their separate ways. Adis ended up scoring 4 goals in 16 league appearances for Zürich.
Jahovikj will now return to Wil where he has a contract until the summer of 2015, but the full expectation is that FC Wil will attempt to sell or once again loan Adis to another club, either in Switzerland or abroad.
Jahovikj, 26, scored in his debut for Macedonia on 14 November 2012 during a 3:2 friendly victory over Slovenia. Adis has since added three more caps to his tally, his latest one coming this past Tuesday in the friendly against Norway.
