Slavcho Georgievski will not return to Neftçi next season as the club announced that he was of six players leaving the Azerbaijani league champions.

Slavcho Georgievski signed a 2 year contract with Neftçi in the summer of 2010, but his contract recently expired after the conclusion of the season.  The two sides could not agree on a new deal and Neftçi announced that Georgievski, along with five other players, will be leaving the club.  In his two years with Neftçi, the popular Tupan made 61 league appearances and scored four goals, helping the club win the domestic title in both years.  Speaking about the departure of the six players, Neftçi thanked the players for their time with the club and wished them success in the future.  Veteran defender Igor Mitreski now becomes the lone Macedonian on Neftçi’s roster as the Azerbaijani side will be involved in the Champions League qualifications later in the summer.
